Moms: Ask Yourself This Question Before Someone Else Tells You What You

How many times a day do you feel overwhelmed by all the things on your plate?

Things that you need to do, things that you should be doing, things that you have been putting off.

Or tasks that you think you should do but aren’t quite sure?

Too often we get caught up in the “ought to’s” and “should do’s.” We allow others to dictate our schedule sometimes and forget to focus on our own priorities. There will always be those obligations that do not sit 100% right with us. Sometimes we have to put others before ourselves or be uncomfortable for a short time in order to move forward. Next time you feel lost in this crazy world that never stops, you can regain perspective by figuring out what one action you can take to move forward.

Sometimes the next right thing can be simple – like make lunch! It doesn’t have to be complicated.  It helps to just ask yourself the question,

“What is the next right thing?”

Pause for a split second to consider what needs to be taken care of next. Nine times out of ten you will find that the answer is staring you in the face. Once you finish that task, ask yourself again.
